I found this book to be very interesting and informative. It describes the stage costumes from the Roman age to the Shakespearean age. The Stage Costume Sourcebook is an outstanding book that teaches you everything about what actors and actresses wore in plays and sketches. It tells you what the showgirls wore, what the kids wore, and what people wore in Chinese plays. The book also describes the clothes that people wore in their daily lives. The author, Jack Cassin-Scott, has a lifetime's experience in theatre. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about stage costumes
