Saved from certain death in the unforgiving desert of Ramal Hamrah, Lucy Forrester is transported to a world of luxury by her rescuer, Sheikh Hanif. The tender care he offers her is more than Lucy has ever experienced in her loveless life, and she finds herself drawn to the proud Arabian prince, despite his tortured soul. As Sheikh Hanif helps Lucy recover from her injuries, Lucy wonders if she can heal Hanif's own wounds, and capture this sheikh's guarded heart....
Nice clean read from one of my favorite authors. A great story about how love grows when two people understand the story of each other's soul. Fielding made her characters believable and real; Han is not arrogant or overly "foreign" as many of the heroes in these sheikh stories are; he's just a man with real feelings. Lucy appears to be the "damsel in distress" at first, but redeems herself by being...herself. Not excessively needy or overly independent. Their initial compassion for each other helps in the heart-healing process, then blossoms into love. I would have liked to have had a bit more to the story; I was sorry to see it end.

From the back of the Book: Rescued by her prince of the desert..... As Sheikh Hanif helps Lucy recover from her injuries, Lucy wonders if she can heal Hanif's own wounds, and capture this sheikh's heart.... This book will grab you from the begining. It is so wonderful to read a story that both the man and the women learn and grow together without the meanness that is so common in Romance Book. Lucy is sweet and strong and Hanif allows her time to see her own self worth and Lucy allow Hanif the time to move throught the greifing process and to reclaim the love of his child. Great book.
A Great Read

I must say that I really enjoyed this book! The plotline was really easy to follow along with, and there really wasn't any real misunderstandings between the main characters; nor were there any subplots or secondary characters to detract from the plot. I liked the fact that although the hero was a prince, he wasn't arrogant in any way and I liked the fact that the h/h didn't spend two-thirds of the book at each other's throats insulting each other. It was an easy read with a plotline that really appealed to me. It was nice to read something that didn't have page after page of love scenes. I recommend this book and I defientely plan to keep this one. This is an author I would most likely read a book from again.
