Good place to start

This book is probably the best place to start when first discovering the great Gordon Lish. Nobody makes you feel the feelings you felt as a child more than good old Gordo. Feelings you tried to forget, or thought you already forgot. Feelings so precious that to feel them again is to be living alive in the word. Try out "The Death of Me", "The Dead", and "Wouldn't a Title Just Make It Worse?" before you comment negatively on this review. There are plenty of haters to all go around. How about a smidgeon of love for this great man?.

Gordon Lish has a unique way of getting his readers immersed into his books. As i was halfway through his 'Selected Stories of Gordon Lish'... i found myself irredeemably blended in his plot. Brilliant!
