Good Advice in Time of Need

This is a fabulous guide in times of difficulty and sadness. It's the advice your friends should give you, but are too spineless to tell you.

Timing Means So Much

I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked this up. My life was chaotic in a semi-orderly way and I'd been able to roll with the punches. Then -- September 11th happened and this tiny book provided strength to continue. While the saints Cynthia Cavnar shares with us never experienced terrorism in the sense that we did here in the New York (and Washington and Pennsylvania) area -- they DID experience personal terror in their journey to God. Chapter four -- TRIALS OF THE SPIRIT: TEMPTATION AND DOUBT -- seemed to be especially meaningful at a time so many of our fellow citizens have been thrown so violently into doubt. I highly recommend this to all who are hurting in little or big ways -- and any place in between.
