The Sacristan is a chapter in the satirical novel Noli Me Tangere of Dr. Jose P. It is also the story of Sisa, the mother of the two catholic sacristans, Basilio and Crispin who were killed by the Spaniards. The horrible death of her beloved sons and the debasements she endur ed from people led to her lunacy at the end.
