Kiyoshi Yukimura lives alone with his mother in Wanokyu, a desolate place without any other humans. On a superstitious day, he is about to have his life changed permanently when a dark, unnatural force threatens to take away everything from him. In order to restore the fading balance in the natural world, Kiyoshi must venture into the unknown and save the Shinto religion from collapsing.
