Hilarious............

I snatched this book at the store when I saw it and never regretted it. Christina Krabbe alone and unemployed picked up by a Cruise ship with a crazy,but lovable King with a lot of kids,one who is named David who is eligble and enjoys penguins. I will not go into any more,but to tell you to read and enjoy. I want a sequel Mrs. Davidson,one featuring Alexa, Katheryn,and their youngest brother. I WANT MOREEEEEE OF THIS FAMILY........... Full of humor and fun

Totally Hillarious!

This was the first book by Mary Janice Davidson that I have read, and I was not disappointed. It was so funnny. To make up an eniterly new history for Alaska is a little risky but she pulled it off "royally". Christina and David are an unconventional couple but they seem to work. The dialogue is hillarous and intelligently witty. I hope that Davidson doesn't stop with this one book I think the other charcters, such as Princess Alex could have equally reat stories of their own. I highly recommned this book and I mayself can not wait to read other books by Mary Janice Davidson.

Fun, fun, fun. I have never laughed so hard before. Started and finished it in one night. I hope we see more works by this author.

The Royal Treatment by MaryJanice Davidson is hysterical, you will not want to put it down. MaryJanice has created a world where Alaska is not part of the USA but a Royal Country.Christina Krabbe is stranded in Alaska after she gets fired from her latest job. She meets "Al" who tells her to call his secretary if she needs help. Little does she know that she had just met King Alexander II. When Chris does look up Al, she realizes he wants her for his son Prince David.Prince David has spent his time earning a doctorate in Marine Biology and caring for his beloved penguins. He wasn't expecting the whirlwind of Christina Krabbe. This book will keep you laughing, the dialogue between the characters is a scream. David and Christina are perfect for each other and will melt any cold Alaskan night.Can't wait to read more of Ms. Davidson's books.

Very Funny

In an alternate reality, Alaska was never sold to the US. It became a kingdom ruled by a very unusual family. King Alexander is masquerading as a fishing guide, when he meets Christina Krabbe, an unemployed cook. He offers her a job, but has much more in mind for her. When she shows up at the palace, she becomes his guest, and meets his family. David,the crown prince is obsessed with penquins and keeps them in a habitat in the palace, Alexandria, is beautiful, but thinks everyone is after her money, Alexander speaks only in Haiku, Kathryn doesn't speak at all and throws food, and Nicholas developes and obsession with her underwear. If quickly becomes apparent that Al, as the king likes to be called, wasn't offering her the job she had on the cruise ship, but was hoping that she would marry David and take on the job as crown princess. After a short time she accepts, and the events leading up to the wedding are hilarious.Ms. Davidson's novels are always alot of fun and I really couldn't find out much about this one before I bought it. I am really glad I did. I read it in one sitting, laughing out loud at times.
