Robin Wood's Updated Tarot

This tarot deck is a facinating, updated version of the Waite-Ryder deck. Wood interpreted the old symbolism by using modern archetypes that are more accessible to people today. The book is necessary for both the novice that is learning tarot for the first time, and the master that wants to understand the nuances of this tarot deck. The more that one can understand the archetypes used in a tarot deck, the more magical power is inherently generated. I met Robin Wood at the SCA Pennsic War market place. We started talking about tarot cards and she asked me what I thought of the Robin Wood Tarot Deck. I told her pretty much what I have told you about it. Robin laughed, and told me who she was. I miss my friend very much, but her brilliance and understanding will live on in her marvelous art, and particularly, in this amazing Tarot Deck.
