Her parents having died, Emily faces the worst Christmas Eve ever. She decides to set off in the middle of a snowstorm for a spooky old mansion in hopes of seeing "the richest doll in the world." This description may be from another edition of this product.
I enjoyed reading this book from beginning to end. It is very descriptive and well written. The story is centered around one very special doll that is very dear to the owner. I also found the spooky old house, where the story takes place, so realistic, that it felt like I was walking the halls with the little girl. The characters in the book range from a little girl, her grandma, a teacup dog, and a rich elderly lady. The teacup dog was just a riot. I collect books about dolls and this one really has a surprise ending. If you enjoy stories about dolls and their owners, then you will really like this one!
