Ira Puckett, the Logging Superintendent for Sundh Lumber Company, ruled his family and logging camps with an iron fist. Low cost production was his number one priority. He lived and breathed for the "Company."

Raising four sons, Ira and his wife Emma could not understand why all of their sons had a wild hair since they modeled an excellent example of how to live clean and prudent lifestyles. Ira was proud of the work ethic he instilled in his boys, but their choice of entertainment left him confused about what he did to invite such behavior.

He never considered that working his boys' asses off from daylight until dark with a crew of hard working, hard playing, whiskey drinking, whore hopping loggers may mold them into the real surroundings he unintentionally created for them.
