A superbly presented biography of an influential American

Biographer Frank Brady places Bock within the vivid and dramatic settings of his time as he re-creates the story of Block as a friend, advisor, or opponent of such men as Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover, Alfred E. Smith, Jimmy Walker, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
