In June 2007, Cinematical co-founder Karina Longworth became editor of SpoutBlog. Published by the film fan social network Spout, SpoutBlog was conceived as a daily dispatch from the center of contemporary cinephilia, dedicated to appreciating the under-the-radar and deflating the overexposed.
