It has been an interesting journey watching my rhyme technique go from traditional rhyming poetry to my unorthodox rhyming style. I have been heavily influenced by hip-hop artist in creating my rhymes and I am thankful for having that music genre and culture in my life. I also want to give myself a shoutout for not forcing myself to create rhyming (or any form of poetry for that matter) in a way that someone else thought it should be.
