Beautiful

This is a beautiful book that talks about designing with plants. "The best plants for the best design have a strong, architectural sahpe; they may also have outstanding foliage or provide striking accent color." The book will appeal esp. to those who like the more formal gardens of Europe -- most pictures were of those style of gardens, not the more informal gardens one sees in America. When the author talks about designing with plants, she is primarily talking about bushes, trees, etc. -- flowers are somewhat shortchanged. The book is gorgeous, though, and well worth looking into.
