The Nine Lives of AdventureCatBy Susan Cyber Susan Cyber has an excellent style of writing adventures about animals. The story begins with MomCat telling AdventureCat and his brothers and sisters that they are on their own. AdventureCat brave because he went on an Adventure to find a new home where he would be loved. He is also kind hearted because he wanted a home instead of being on the streets. AdventureCat trotted to their neighbor?s farm. A truck backed up and ran over AdventureCat?s tail. He thinks it is not going to be easy living on his own. But in the middle of the story, AdventureCat begins to show bravery. He ran up in a tree when a strange pet named Pickles chased him, and he went into a tree house. In the tree house there was a boy. The boy went home and brought AdventureCat too. AdventureCat was searching for a home and found one. I love adventure stories about animals and this is a winner. This book stays quite serious throughout the story. This book reminded of Redwall.
