For today's generation of riders and horse owners--especially the leisure rider who wants to explore equestrian sports--this book provides the key to understanding the natural instincts and behavior of the horse, as well as problem solving tips and master class training. 450 illustraions.
This is a really great book. If you want info on breeds this is NOT the book for you. But it is the one book i have found that has something other than breeds. It includes info on breeding and training. Also it talks about competive events and riding tips. It is the top book if you want to know about riding and training instead of breeds. I would recommend this to anyone.
Very Informative

From a standpoint of learning to ride or learning the basics of horse care, this book has the information. I refer to this book regularly for help. A good first purchase for those just getting started or for reference.
