An eccentric billionaire, a best-selling author, and a beautiful, self-destructive woman: three lives linked by the tragic sinking of the Titanic April 11, 1912: The gala sailing out of Southampton of... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I read this book several times throughout my life and every single time it is a fantastic book. I have referred it to several people and they have enjoyed it as well. Does everyone know that this book was made into a movie in the 1980s starring Natalie Woods and Roddy McDowall. I barely remember watching the movie many years ago, but it must have struck in my brain because I recall Roddy mcDowall starring as the person saving the little girl's life on the ship. I would love to find a copy of this movie. Does anyone know where I can purchase one?
Hidden treasure

I recently ran across a copy of Memory of Eva Ryker on a shelf of free books on our university campus. Always fascinated with the Titanic, I took it home and started reading it. It seemed a little slow at first, but became riveting very shortly. While reading it , I could picture Harrison Ford playing the main character since "Norman" finds himself always one step ahead of the villain. It should be re-released because it is a very good book and well written.
Neglected book parallels "Titanic"

I read this book about 8 years ago and enjoyed it immensely; it was one of those riveting page turners which are so hard to find these days. It came back to me after seeing the movie Titanic, because I was reminded of various parallels between the two stories; notably the uncovering of an woman's mysterious background set aboard the great ship. It also centred on the enigma of that most mysterious of ships. It reignited my interest in the story and I was desperate to read the book. Unfortunately it appears to be out of print. It seems an ideal moment to release the book and capitalise on the renewed interest in the Titanic phenomenon. I would be very interested in finding out more about the book and it's author, Donald Stanwood. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
