Instructive

Matzat does not have a know it all attitude. His approach is more of a learner seeking to share the insight he's gained thus far in his quest for spiritual understanding. As Christian stewards, any book that provides instuction on hearing God and being responsive to Him is welcomed. Matzat provides practical steps for achieving spiritual growth. His balanced approach views this as a learning process, one that has ups and downs along the way. Although the journey involves learning, these truths can be indeed be learned and implemented in one's life. In that light, this book is an encouragement. It's realistic, practical, and beneficial.

Good practical guide to a life guided by the Holy Spirit

Although I have practiced a lot of the principles described in this book, they were implemented in a haphazard way.After reading the practical guidelines in Rev. Matzat's book, I feel my life will be more strongly guided by the Holy Spirit. Since I have recently entered a Christian venture on faith, the more guidance I have from God, the greater will be my ministry for His Kingdom.
