Kate Hill does an excellent job of tackling the very difficult subject of youth suicide. She attempts to make the reader understand the causes of and the ways in which family and friends can help those who are vulnerable of suicide. An excellent source of information this book should be widely read as it seriously deals with what is a very emotive issue, cutting to the very heart of the subject and lays it bare such that it can be accessable to the thinking person. This book should be read by teachers, parents, and any persons in contact with the young (including the young themselves) as it gives clear do's and do not's for people in the difficult situation of dealing with the suicidal young (which potentially is every young person alive) and gives a list of resources and organizations that are available.
