Indispensable!

I bought this little book back in college, but started using it again recently on a temp job as an Executive Assistant for a CEO. Simply put, it's the best, most concise guide for grammar, style and punctuation that I've come across. Now I use it whenever I write business letters, personal letters and my own creative writing. It makes a wonderful quick guide if you're in a hurry, but also gives plenty of examples to flesh out the do's and don'ts. Many people today don't know how to write well, but the amount of guidebooks out there is downright intimidating. The Little English Handbook is well written, easy to understand, unpretentious, and actually makes you want to learn more about how to use the English language properly. Now you'll know when to use semicolons, how to avoid awkward sentences, and what the heck a conjunctive adverb is! This handbook should be on everyone's bookshelf.

great writing tool

I loved this book. It helped me through my first english 101 class in college, and it's cheapice made it affordable. It contains help on word ussage, punctuation, and spelling. It is easy to use and if you use it you are guranteed an AS like I got. I couldn't have passed college english wihtout it!
