I had read this book a long time ago,but unlike most novels, I remember this one and the characters are still vividly etched in my mind. I cried my heart out when the hero died in the end....It was a beautiful novel.

This book is really a novel. It tells of Lily's life- her abusive parents, her unfaitful husband, her spoiled children and then how she got her life back together after all the tradgeties that life anded her. This book I read when I was 13 maybe and I still read it today. Maybe in the next decade I'll give it back to it's owner.

I am not going to say much about this book except that it is a great book. I re-read it 3 times when I was 14. And I am still reading it today! This will be my 5th time reading it. I suggest everyone should read this book if you are into things by Cynthia Freeman.
A great story that proves that love really does conquer all!

This is the best book that I have ever read. The characters are so realistic, you feel as if they are a part of you. The plot draws you in, it is virtually impossible to put this page-turner down. It is a timeless story of the power of love. If you love a good romance novel, this is definitely the best one out there, or at least the best one that I have ever read. I cried, I got angry, and when it was over I found it hard to draw myself out of the world of Lily, Harry, Ellis, Melissa, Jeremy, Drew, Randy, and Cadeau. Read this book! I give it 10 stars! Also, be sure to check out Cynthia Freeman's other novels, which are equally as captivating.
Beautiful story, easy read.

Beautiful story, easy read. Perfect for vacation/airplane type read. It is a perfect book for women. You smile when you finish it and wish Cynthia Freeman did not pass away so young so one could wait for her next book. Unfortunately, that's not the case. I liked the book a lot and thought it to be Ms. Freeman's best.
