A Batman Fan

There's a reason why this book is still popular after so many years: it's fresh, it's clever, it's extremely funny. It doesn't depend on current events like so much dated humor. Rather it does twists and turns with our language and mindsets. Here are some teasers from a random page: "How did the Joker make an elephant float?" "Why did the Joker buy so many canaries?" "Why could the Joker never make a violin?" "How is the Joker like a retired school teacher?" If you know the witty answers right off the bat, you're quicker than I am. The only thing I wonder about is that the book is tagged for "young adults." I don't think so. The book is probably too challenging for the average high school graduate or college student. There are hundreds of jokes in the book, along with many illustrations, all at a price that can't be beat. You don't have to be a Batman fan to enjoy, or to be challenged by, Mort Todd's uncanny humor. Check it out!
