This text charts the complete history of the acoustic guitar from the 16th century, and the electric guitar over the past 70 years. It is aimed at both players of all levels and music enthusiasts, covering a wide variety of styles, including classical, jazz, country, and rock.
I bought this book at a half priced bookstore a couple years ago, and it's pretty good, if you like learning about companies histories with certain guitars. The only thing I don't like about this book, is that there are a few typos and factual errors, such as "cale" instead of "scale" on one page, and the author said that "James Hetfield was the founder for Megadeth", which is completely false, since James Hetfield wasn't even IN Megadeth. Either way, this book is still good, and features illustrations of all the guitars mentioned.
