Dusty has a sort of stream-of-consciousness style of writing. He doesn't identify the speakers, so you need to keep track of them yourself. This makes his stories proceed at breakneck speed. That adds to the excitement.

Just finished The Horse Creek Incident by Dusty Richards. I believe this man can not only talk the talk, but I believe he can (and has) walked the walk! I believe this writer has blown on his hands to keep warm while putting out hay. I believe he has scraped green manure from under the heel of an honest-to-goodness working boot. I believe he is the real McCoy. If you like a good western, I don't believe you could go far wrong here.
