chockfull of interesting anecdotes from the past

I gleaned a lot of new information from this small but powerful book telling some of the tales from our colonial past. Mr. Cahill certainly has gathered up some very interesting anecdotes from a dark aspect of our history.The only problem I have with this book is he does not include a bibliography in the back. In his other books in the series he does. Since I am involved in research regarding the Hartford Witch trials, I am disappointed he did not have his facts straight regarding the circumstances of this sordid story. It just made me skeptical of his other "retellings" of history.Other than this, it is a very entertaining and interesting read!
