Glenda Malmin's book The Hidden Power of a Mother's Heart gives fresh wisdom on the many facets of being a mother. I was encouraged by Mary's natural struggle with her human emotions. Often Mary is portrayed in books as a perfect mother and person, but Glenda's book spoke of Mary's insecurities and imperfections. The most fascinating thing to me was the revelation of timing God designed for Mary and Elizabeth. Using His intricate time table in the coinciding births of their children is a true testament to God's faithfulness. I would never have seen that miracle of the Lord had I not read this book. This book contains invaluable information on a priceless story.
