"The Hemingway Papers" is a fanciful, entertaining page-turner inspired by a real-life incident in the life of a young Ernest Hemingway. It could easily be subtitled "Raiders of the Lost Generation." The author is clearly having a great deal of fun packing his story with historical figures like James Joyce and Gertrude Stein. No one should take this thriller seriously, and anyone who does needs to lighten up a bit.
