Amazing

My brother gave me this book, in hardback, 19 years ago. I still have it. This book can be read from cover to cover, or each poem individually. It covers the joy of meeting a new love to the loss of the love. When you read the poems, you will feel the pain/joy of the author and some poems will bring back the memory of your love or loss. There will definitely be one poem which you will absolutely identify with. The poetry contains humor, sadness, sarcasm and joy. I've recently purchased this book for someone I love very much for a Valentine's Day gift and inscribed it with a message. I am sure that book will be with them for years to come, just like my copy has.

...And I don't even LIKE poetry...

This is book is absolutely amazing.Peter Williams touches on every aspect of relationships. His poems are vivid, descriptive, and right to the point. A big plus if you're the kind of person that just flips through poetry books and reads the short ones. (That's me!)I would recommend this book to anyone who is, ever has been, or ever plans to be in a relationship!

powerfully emotional and intuitive

This book was given to me several years ago yet it has been a guide and a consolation during times of romantic distress and of good times. His words touch upon the true feelings of love and loss, he truly gives his heart a voice. I would reccomend this book to anyone who has been in love, is in love, or ever even thought about love. Beautiful!

on the verge of extinction: homemade angel wings

Sigh. Peter McWilliams' poetry is a warm elixer to your tattered heart and hungry soul. This collection of McWilliams' favorite poetry is a sufficient tribute to his previous out of print series from the seventies. It follows the intrinsic evolution and journey of lust to love to loss to... peace. Read it out loud to your newest entangled tango partner. Smile. Grab this book before he decides to yank it off the press with everything else. Not that I'm bitter!
