My new favorite author

This book was a pure delight!!! I relished every page, laughing out loud or christening with tears. The Guncle's memories of his deceased friend made me remember sweet things about a friend of my own who recently passed away (Yvonne, that garlic soup was lick-the-bowl scrumptious. And, hey, the wax museum...) Every character was well developed and essential. The story ended just exactly right. I CAN'T WAIT to read the sequel. In the meantime, I'm ordering Rowley's "The Editor."
