I thought this was a very nice book to teach students about the beginnings of paleontology. It is intended for kids, not adults. The language is a bit clunky but the story comes across very well. It is difficult to understand that belief in evolution and palentology is pretty new. People had to take up an interest in Science first then look into many curiosties in the natural world. This book helps students understand how fossils were discovered to be remains of plants, animals and humans.
