More Fun Than Star Trek

This novel combines sci-fi adventure with amazing imagination and a touch of romance. It combines futuristic space travel with elements of medieval society, bizarre plants and an amazing collection of villins who give new meaning to the phraise "having a monkey on one's back". The story reaches a satisfying conclusion while leaving room for another book in what I would like to see become a series. It is appropriate for the reading pleasure of anyone in the 9 to 99 age range give or take a few years.
