Interesting book trying to reconcile LDS theology and Mainstream Christians.

I finished The God Who Weeps. It's only about 120 pages and not difficult. Basically, it's a compilation of quotes from LDS and Orthodox Christian scriptures, the Talmud and Kabala, theologians, philosophers, mystics, writers, and poets in support of LDS doctrines that differ from mainstream Christian beliefs. Each chapter supports one belief, starting with a personal God with passions and a body. It includes chapters on premortal existence, the purpose of mortal life, Original Sin and Universal Salvation, and the basic nature of Man.
