Dispels the myths that have demonized touch in our culture

The author does a beautiful job of supporting the argument for caring touch, and eloquently explains the many different types of touch (no Freud, it's not all sexual.) She also gives proven evidence to show that touch is a vital necessity to continued health. As a teacher and practitioner of Therapeutic Massage, I would have to say that this is singularly the best book on this subject that I have ever read. An excellent source of data in support of touch in any situation, not limited to massage. I wish I could find it in hardcover, as it is definitely a keeper!
