It's a great book for beginners as well as more advanced flutists. It makes a great gift.

A great book for those who are interested in the flute.

This is an excellent book for all ages covering the flute history to the fullest. Includes a play-along CD. Well illustrated. in my honest opinion this book is a MUST for every flute player and their parent.

Fun to play the pieces

There weren't that many pieces to play, but they were fun. I never knew so much about the history of flutes. The CD was a lot of fun too. My favorite and best piece is "The Entertainer". he book has improved my knowledge of the flute a lot.
