Excellent

Transitioning from regency to contemporary romance is not always a success but Ms Long does it beautifully. Romance between a single mom and the school principal sounds cliched but this book transcends cliches. The characters are adorable, the format original and witty. Hard to depict a tender mother child relationship without being mawkish but she does it beautifully and realistically. (I wonder if the child is her own?). And the child concerned is adorable. VERY readable, funny and steamy without being too graphic.
