Great guide, but needs further revision.

Out of all the pregnancy books that I own, this is by far my favorite. The layout is easy to read, which a logical,and for the most part, sequential way to present information. I would have rather the book be further divided into two sections, one of the month-by-month stuff, the other into interesting reference items that do not need to be in any kind of order. I felt that the were some things on month seven that I wish had been there earlier, and such things as multiple births (which did not apply to me) could have been elsewhere. But overall, a very useful guide.

An easy, smart read!

I have to say that this book is great for the first time mom or a mom with lots of experience. It is broken up by month, so you can see "in print" what you are going through and how to deal with it. I have purchased another book on breastfeeding, just as a "refresher course" but this book does touch on it briefly. I have a few pregnancy books, but this one is by far my favorite read.

Amazing Book!

This book is amazing! It is easy to read and you don't have to be a doctor to understand it. Instead of having to go to 1,000 different places to get the information I needed, I found it all in one place - month after month. It is great. It has been very helpful to me. I highly recommend it!!

Smart, Friendly -- Kind of Book You Want During Pregnancy!

Great book. It's written in a friendly, easy-to-read style, but is packed with the kind of practical, reassuring, and helpful information a pregnant woman craves. I thought I'd read all there was to read in the various pregnancy books, but this latest edition with writer Paula Ford-Martin has a wealth of new information, and there are many informative tidbits throughout that add to its usefulness. I really found the month by month format particularly helpful and easy to follow.I highly recommend this book, good gift for a newly pregnant friend or family member. (There's also some great info for the father-to-be!)
