This book is an exhaustive, empathic volume, and essential reading for patient and provider alike. Except for the out-of-date information on antiretrovirals (I hope that Pocket will issue an revised edition that includes the protease inhibitors), the topics addressed in the book are timely, modern and always written with the patient in mind. Complete without being overwhelming, this book is _the_ guide to living with HIV infection.
