This is my favorite book for Unitarian history (before 1975). Instead of relying on some "expert" to interpret what Unitarian of years past meant - Parke provides you with the source texts themselves that brought about the developement of our religious movement. My only reservations about this book is that I don't feel it covers the last half of our century very well. However that could be because Unitarianism was becoming Unitarian-Universalism during that time...
