A Great book for reading and reference

This book covers Pre-Lent (Carnival), Lent and Easter traditions. Father Weiser wrote many books thoroughly researching the origins of our feast and customs in the Church. This book is enjoyable reading, but also a great resource, with a few recipes throughout. This was written before Vatican II, so some liturgical things have changed, but it is surprisingly applicable and up to date in everything else. A great buy.
