wonderful provocative images

I found this book while browsing for texts about pagan history. The Earth Goddess explores the ancient images of the goddess found in Britain and Ireland which have been obscured and embedded in the christian culture which followed. It is a guide to specific sites and a thoughtful presentation of the enduring symbols and evidence of the goddess belief system (nature worship, earth, motherhood and regeneration).
