"A young boy's wishful thinking becomes a smooth piece of nonfiction, charmingly packed with facts."--Publishers Weekly "An appealing combination of fantasy and reality".--Kirkus Reviews A young boy... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This story is about a dinosaur who used to live in a kid's backyard. When he was born, the egg was as big as a basketball. If the dinosaur jumped, the boy's neighborhood would shake. We think the author wrote this story to show kids fun facts, and to tell kids what happened long ago. We give this story a five star rating, because it's good for kids under eight years old and it's funny.

This story is about a dinosaur that lived in a little boy's backyard. The dinosaur's foot was bigger than the little boy & girl's sandbox. By the time the dino was five, the dino was bigger than the children's car. We like that this story has dinos. We like the whole book. We think it would be for third graders and down.

My son is 3 years old and totally into dinosaurs. He loves this book and we read it every night at bedtime. It is a book that relates the time of the dinosaur to todays world. Very good.
