All Together Now

This book includes In the Forest of the Night, Demon in my View, Shattered Mirror, and Midnight Predator. These are the first four books Amelia Atwater-Rhodes wrote. All four are good vampire books. They introduce Atwater-Rhodes' vampire world from four different points of view (a vampire, a human born from a vampire, a witch/vampire hunter, and a human vampire hunter who was a part of a vampire slave trade). The cover has good art with a girl dissolving into bats. My only complaint is that it's not in hardcover.

Promising young author

While it is obvious that the author is young, the books themselves are well written. While some will argue that she should have waited until she was older and more experienced to publish I think by publishing young she is in fact honing these skills and creating a large fan base. I read these books several years ago and enjoyed them as a teenager so much that as an adult I still read her works.

Young adult Literature for Young Adults

This book is a collection of the Author's early books. What is truly amazing is that Ms. Atwater-Rhoades was just 13 years old when she wrote the first book in the series. Her relative innocence and youth when writing these books makes the tone much more manageable for other young adults who want to read her work. Additionally, seeing other young adults succeed and produce good works of fiction is very inspiring. I was glad to get a collection of these novels, because I have had a hard time getting Demon in my view to read.
