So as her way of showing maturity she babysits her little brother, and they go to the park to play and when they head to the slide something happens to her little brother. This book is about a girl named Abby Hayes who wants to go to a Fall Festival with her friends. She tries to show her parents how mature she is by cleaning up and doing other jobs. She ends up showing that she is mature and goes to the Fall Festival with her brother and friends. I recommend this book to girls 6-13. I think this is a great book for all girls . It will help all girls to be mature and self-confident.

This was a great book! I loved it. It is all about this girl named Abby Hayes who writes a diary. She has many growing problems. She loves to play soccer and loves to write. She is a calender collector. I suggest reading the 1st book 1st!
Better than harry potter

I bought this book for a friend's daughter who doesn't seem to read anything but Harry Potter. She really liked it and went and got the first one too. So now she's waiting for the third one, which I think is coming out soon. Her mom likes these books too--they're not full of all kinds of death and scary stuff which I wouldn't want my kids reading anyway.
The second in a great series

This second book in the Amazing Days of Abby Hayes series is even better than the first. I laughed out loud when I read it, and I'm not in the 9-12-year-old recommended reading range (okay, so I borrowed from someone who was). It's gotten rave reviews from local kids too.
