The Darkness Inside is an intense and unsettling supernatural horror. Past and present mingle in this non-linear tale dripping with violence and murder.

Sophie is five when a faceless figure appears at her bedroom window and asks to be let in, as it had when her mother was a girl. In her early twenties, she discovers that a darkness lurks within. It takes possession of her in order to commit terrible acts of rage, ones which she recalls in fearful flashes of memory.

Written under the influence of The Prodigy's music, this story is infused with dark and vibrant energy.

Though a stand-alone story, The Darkness Inside is also the first in a series of short horror novels created to specific music. Called the Melodies of Madness Series, it also includes Into the Depths, The Liquid Room, Spontaneous Combustion and The Watcher. Each is available in Kindle and paperback formats and all five have been published in an anthology entitled Melodies of Madness.
