I didn't think this book was anything special when I got it from the library, but my 2-year old just loves it. It is simple enough for her to be interested in the colors and numbers. Each page has a color, number, and object and is presented in a consistent way. The only thing I don't like is that the "crayons" sometimes cover over the illustrations of animals etc. and that didn't seem to make sense to me. The big plus for me, though, is that my daughter really enjoys it and is learning by looking at the pages.
