Extremely witty and subtle; he's obviously been there.

As a long-time mountaineer, rock climber, ice climber, skydiver, etc., I was profoundly impessed with the depth and accuracy of Tomb's knowledge. His understated and bone-dry wit has been a hit with every serious outdoorsperson I know, while no one else can figure out what we find so funny. If you can appreciate receiving a deduction of style points for a skull jam, this book is for you!
