This book leads the reader through the history of the Saluki, and the history of showing Salukis in Amerika and Britain. The 2nd part of this classic book for fanziers introduces the reader and especially the readers new to this breed into the Saluki as a pet. By example the writer gives advise in: how to feed, how to raise and train a puppy, how to deal with minor illnesses. And as all this is tried and proven to work with her dogs, it will be valuable advise for everyone with a Saluki moving into their home. Especially nice is the quantity of black and white photos, which show famous champions. The Standart of the Saluki is written and explained in detail. A very good read!
