IDIOT'S GUIDE TO GOLDN RETRIEVRS

VERY READABLE,I WAS GLAD TO SEE THIS WAS NOT JUST A GENERIC "PUPPY RAISING BOOK", SINCE I AM A HARD CORE GERMAN SHEPHERD OWNER I FOUND ALOT OF GOOD INFORMATION ON GOLDEN RETRIEVERS, AND IT HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL IN RAISING AND TRAINING MY GOLDEN RETRIEVER.

What a fun book! Paws up from Ginger & Audrey!

This book is spectacular or should I say "truly golden!" I am thrilled several photographs of my three rescued Golden Retrievers, Ginger and Audrey and the late Cinnamon, are in the book however I must add that the entire book is so superb... it is truly a "complete" guide to Goldens! Being involved in Golden rescue I have found it to be an awesome tool to share with those interested in learning more about Goldens, those considering adopting a Golden and for those who are already a Golden "parent(s)" - it is well written, thorough, organized, and the photographs really highlight the book! Consider donating a copy to your local library, schools, etc. like I have done. It is a great guide to refer to time and time again! This book is a lot of fun and educational at the same time! My Goldens Audrey and Ginger give it four paws up!

Hi there, this is Margaret H. Bonham. I hope you'll check out this book if you're a Golden Retriever fan. This is a basic primer on getting a Golden Retriever. They're great dogs, no doubt about it, but do you know all there is to know about them? In this book I cover the basics: choosing a Golden, bringing a puppy and adult home, clicker training a Golden, grooming and caring for a Golden, health issues (allergies are big here!) and other cool things. Check it out. I think you'll like it.
