Johnathon Battle (a prophetic name!) had been wounded in World War I and saw more than his share of death, so he vowed to do all he could to prevent others from suffering his fate and those with whom he served. As CAPTAIN BATTLE he fought against the enemies of freedom, often with the help of his Curvoscope, a special camera that could see anywhere on Earth, a Dissolvo Gun which disintegrated matter, a gyroscope Luceflyer, and jetpack. CAPTAIN BATTLE was mostly drawn by Golden Age ace Jack Binder, and appeared in Silver Streak Comics #10-21 as well as two issues of his own series - and Gwandanaland Comics has it all here!
