it grows on you

I admit that when I first saw this book, I thought it was too simplistic but after reading it with kids I was able to catch their enthusiasm. Now I read it with great pleasure. The Character in the Book certainly has character and it is a joy imagining him going through life in a book and then traveling through the book to meet his aunt. He is always jaunty and cheery, even when faced with a new adventure. You have to love him and the pretense of the book.

Cute Book, lots of fun for all ages!

Everyone should read this book! It's really original and all kids will it and so will the parents reading it to them.
